After contacting Corti S.A., the development of a system was requested to serve as a monitor/complement for their new Brush Cutter. The idea was to notify the cabin about the status of the fuses present in each line, to alert when one of them "blows".

After an extensive analysis and a couple of prototypes, we explored different alternatives to address the requirement. We considered working with CAN, widely used in agriculture and the automotive industry. We even developed an MVP with 1-wire, which we share in the video below.

Finally, it was decided to "remove" intelligence from the sensors, and that they simply be sensors that report to a "master" central unit, which is then responsible for maintaining communication with the app to notify in real time the status of each one.

Bluetooth communication allows a reliable connection with more than sufficient range for the machine and reduces wiring in the cabin, simplifying the setup of the implement.
