LPR Display

At Pletac, the LPR technology (License Plate Recognition) is being implemented in different municipalities.

This involves cameras equipped with intelligence to recognize the license plates of vehicles passing in front of them. After processing, this information needs to be displayed on a screen. That is where our work begins. By interconnecting multiple LED panels (Dot Matrix), we build a custom screen tailored to the client’s needs.

Then, we developed the electronics and firmware necessary to receive the camera data (via Ethernet) and show the license plate on this giant screen.

In addition to license plates, various messages for drivers can also be displayed.
